ABC Asia Pacific transmits on two simultaneous channels on the PAS-8 satellite. On the 1st of August ABC Asia Pacific will commence changes to expand its service. To do this, one of these simultaneous services on the PAS-8 satellite will be removed.
If you have noticed a text message at the bottom of the screen saying:

"If you are receiving this text please note: By August 1 to continue to receive ABC Asia Pacific you will need to change your Satellite Receiver by either pressing the up arrow or access the channel menu in your satellite receiver and select the alternative channel. Residents in high rise buildings please contact their building supervisor. To remove this text do the change now. “

All you are required to do is go to the ABC Asia Pacific Satellite receiver and do the change. That's all.

Note: The frequency remains unchanged.
When making the change you will observe that your Satellite receiver is receiving two ABC ASIA PACIFIC channels both identical programming. Select the channel without the text message on the bottom of the picture.If the problem persists, please contact us.
